RaiseRED is an 18-hour dance marathon and the largest student-run philanthropic organization at the University of Louisville. The event has a year-round focus that raises awareness and funding for the children, families, and doctors fighting pediatric cancer and blood disease at UofL. Last year, nearly 1,000 students raised over $682,000! I personally have always had a love for children. When I went to my first dance marathon at my high school the stories of the survivors and the ones still fighting for their lives touched my heart very deeply. My passion for the kids pushed me to become a part of RaiseRed at UofL. I am now a freshman at UofL and am the Student Outreach Coordinator for Sojourn College Ministries. My goal is to share my passion with others and dance for all the kids that can’t due to their battle with cancer. Every penny you donate goes straight to the kids and truly changes lives, me and all of the RaiseRed staff would greatly appreciate your donations to such an amazing cause!
